PATRIOTS ROLLED TO A 16-3, FIVE- INNING WIN OVER THE WARREN WARRIORS

Parkersburg South erupted for 13 runs in the fourth inning as the Patriots rolled to a 16-3, five- inning win over the Warren Warriors Monday night in Vincent. Drew Cochran went a perfect three-for-three to lead a 13-hit South attack as the Patriots improved to 4-2 on the young season. Bryce Eagle tossed three innings of one-hit baseball to grab the win while Ben Menarchek, Grant Hussey and Nicholas Yoho each collected two hits apiece for the winners. Warren, which slipped to 6-5 on the season with the loss, got basehits by Drew Huffman, Noah Edgell, Levi Tucker and Tyler Tanner.
