SOUTH CELEBRATE TEAM WIN.

South Celebrates opening victory over Musselman and also congratulates teammate Brayden Mooney for his 18Pt performance and FCA Scholarship. Parkersburg South 85, Musselman 61 INSTITUTE, W.Va. — In a battle of Class AAA preseason ranked programs, No. 9 Parkersburg South dominated No. 10 Musselman, 85-61, here Friday night at the Hoops Classic at W.Va. State. Brayden Mooney led the 1-0 Patriots with 18 points while Shane Snider double-doubled with 13 points and 11 rebounds. PSHS, which takes on Capital at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the semifinals of its own holiday tournament, also received 11 points and seven assists from Seth Fallon along with 10 points and five steals from Cole Plants. VMI-bound Jake Stephens scored half of his team-high 18 points in the fourth South plays next in their own Holiday Tournament on Tuesday, December 19 VS. a strong Capital Team at 5:30 at the ROAC. Game 2 of the Tournament finds Teays Valley Christian Prep clashing with First Love Academy of Washington PA.
